Wayne Jett has called McHenry home since he was 6 years old, growing up in this vibrant community and attending Riverwood Grade School and McHenry West Campus. Wayne and his wife, Amber, are raising their four children in McHenry, where they are deeply invested in the community’s future. As Mayor of McHenry since 2017, Wayne has dedicated himself to building a thriving, sustainable town where families can grow, businesses can flourish, and everyone can enjoy the best that McHenry has to offer. Under his leadership, McHenry has welcomed over 300 new businesses, bringing jobs, opportunities, and a revitalized energy to the area. With these new businesses, Wayne has worked tirelessly to secure funding for crucial projects like road improvements, downtown revitalization, and community development.
